Proper Tongue Cleaning Technique

  • After brushing your teeth rinse your mouth.
  • Open mouth wide and stick the tongue out, pointing downwards.
  • Insert tongue cleaner inside mouth towards the back of the throat. Make sure you are comfortable and avoid triggering the gag reflex. Now push the tongue cleaner down making contact with the tongue; maintain constant pressure downward towards tongue and slowly pull the cleaner out.
  • Repeat procedure 3 to 4 times. If tongue cleaner has debris rinse cleaner with water before repeating procedure.
  • Finally, rinse out mouth.
  • For children under 10 adult supervision recommended.
  • Don’t share tongue cleaners, such practices can be dangerous and can expose you to many diseases, such as Hepatitis.
  • The tongue cleaner should be disposed once the freshening strip is gone. Avoid using tongue cleaner after the strip is worn away, as bacteria buildup and wear on the scraper part of cleaner can lead to injuries.
  • Stop using product should you suspect that you are allergic to this product.
  • Dispose tongue cleaner after use.
  • Always keep new or used tongue cleaners away from pets.
